The CryoJane Tape-Transfer System for Cryosectioning makes it easy to produce high-quality frozen sections of difficult tissues. The CryoJane uses adhesive coated slides and adhesive tapes to capture sections instead of using an anti-roll plate or brush. The Leica CryoJane is adaptable to virtually all cryostats on the market. The system achieves frozen sections of paraffin-quality as thin as two microns. The sections are wrinkle-free, uncompressed, fully intact and bonded to the microscope slide. A strip of tape is affixed to the trimmed tissue block and a section is then cut onto the tape. The tape with the section is placed on a pre-coated adhesive slide.

IMEB, Inc Hydrochloric Acid/Formic Acid Decalcification Solution, 1 Gallon
Hydrochloric Acid/Formic Acid Decalcification Solution: a combination to illustrate the best decalcifying agent by Lillie. Formic acid permits satisfactory nuclear and marrow cell staining, while Hydrochloric Acid rapidly decalcifies even compact bone in 12 to 24 hours. As with any acid solution, swelling of tissue is characteristic after extended periods. Reagent alcohol may be added to solution to remedy the swelling action.

HybriSlips are flexible, ready-to-use thin (0.25 mm) covers for glass slides that minimize fluid friction and facilitate uniform reagent distribution. The RNase free, hydrophobic covers will not trap or bind probes to their surfaces like coverglass. Working surfaces are protected with clean release liners to prevent RNase contamination. Hybrislips remain flat and will not curl, even at high temperatures and are ideally suited for in situ hybridization, in situ PCR and hybridization to genomic arrays on glass slides.
